Miss Granny's Philippines version is a 2018 comedy-drama film based on a Korean film of the same name directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal and starring Sarah Geronimo, James Reid, Xian Lim, and Nova Villa. It is produced by Viva films.

Marissa Delgado as Lulu

SYPNOSIS - It's about Fely Malabaño who found out that her son sending her to a Home for the Aged just because of his wife for not to be stressed and found herself in her twenties after visiting an old photo studio.

REVIEW - It's a heartwarming movie. I actually watched the Korean version of this film before I knew that they will have a remake of this movie. Actually I'm a fan of a Korean movie/drama series and I must say that I'm super satisfied with the Pinoy version. They give justice to the movie and I think it's much more funnier than the original. I cried more here than the Korean version and I'm still emotional until now. Hindi mo namamalayan na umiiyak ka na pala habang pinapanood mo ang pelikulang ito. Bigla na lang tutulo mga luha mo. Hanggang ngayon naiiyak pa rin ako kapag naaalala ko yung pelikula.

Perfect choice of actors. Great acting. Great editing. And great songs. I love all of the songs here. I'm surprised to Sarah Geronimo's acting here. It improved alot and it's more natural than before. Yung ibang lines na binitawan ni Sarah sa movie, di mo aakalain na maririnig mo sa kanya yun. And I think that it's much more okay to have this kind of movie than having a love team or romance in a movie for her. She's much more greater here even though she doesn't have a partner/love team in this film. Now I know why they choose Sarah G. for this role. It's a perfect role for her.

The same goes for James Reid and Xian Lim. Their acting is more improved and natural here. I liked how their role fits for them. It's simple but it has more impact. The portrayal/role of Boboy Garavillo, Nonie Buencamino, Lotlot de Leon, Ataska Mercado, Kim Molina, and Marissa Delgado is perfect for them too.

And of course the portrayal of Ms. Nova Villa is perfect too. I loved how Sarah G. and Nova Villa matched. Gustung-gusto ko yung kuhang-kuha nila ang isa't isa. Yung parehas na parehas sila. Yung kapag si Sarah G. ang pinapanood mo, nakikita mo sa kanya si Nova Villa and vice versa.

Director Bb. Joyce Bernal did a great job directing the movie. She shows hows the Mother's love in a Pinoy way. I hope to see more of this kind of movie in the future.

I rate this movie a 10/10 not because I'm a fan of Sarah G. but because ngayon lang ako umiyak ng ganun sa isang Pinoy movie. Napapaiyak lang ako ng ganun sa mga kdrama na pinapanood ko but this time, it's my first time to watched and cry to this kind of Pinoy films. This movie is jjang! A highly recommended film.

The simplicity of the movie takes out the natural talent of the actors and that's the best of it.

The love of a Mother is endless.

Love your parents. Don't take them for granted just because you have your own family. Remember that your parents is your first family. Wala ka sa mundong ito kung hindi dahil sa kanila because in the end, you will just realize their worth when it's too late. So don't waste time.

It's still showing in cinemas nationwide. Watch it now before it's too late!
