In 2017, they guested on the New Yang Nam Show, revealing their most shocking moment of dorm life together. Coincidentally, they chose the same story: when they first met.
BamBam originally planned to prank his hyungs at the time by going around completely naked. To his surprise, the person who opened the door was a stranger, not one of his hyungs!
"I just came out of the shower and I was only wearing a towel and my underwear when I heard something. It sounded like someone pressing the password numbers so I was like, it must be my hyungs. So as a prank I took off my underwear and was like this." —BamBam
It was Youngjae’s first day, and he was in utter shock. BamBam commented, “And originally, when you’re surprised, you be like, ‘Woah,’ and cover up, right? But I just kept going. I think he was really shocked.”

They revealed more of the story when they held a livestream to promote their album repackage Present: You & Me. BamBam will certainly never live this moment down, as it was Youngjae’s first impression of him and JYP Entertainment.
"On my first day as a trainee, when I first came to our dorm, BamBam opened the door, and I could only see one color on his body. First impression… I was thinking, ‘Are all the guys here like this? Is this how they welcome me?’" —Youngjae

Yet, not everyone knows the full story until now…
Actor Ahn Hyo Seop was also involved. He was a trainee at JYP Entertainment and could have been a GOT7 member (if he wasn’t taller than the others).
And recently, Yugyeom and Youngjae guested on Episode 14 of Hey, Come Here, a new show hosted by Super Junior‘s Donghae and Eunhyuk.
Youngjae explained that Ahn Hyo Seop was showing him around when he and BamBam had their unexpected encounter. He had opened the door, and there was BamBam, who thought he was pranking his hyungs!
"Who was the person who took me there (dorm) then? Ah! Hyo Seop hyung. He said, ‘Youngjae, this is the dorm where you’ll be staying,’ and then opened the door. Then, out of nowhere, BamBam came out shaking his body… (So I thought) ‘Oh, is this JYPE style?’" —Youngjae
Previously, Youngjae revealed during a live broadcast that Hyo Seop was the hyung who had taken him around, introducing him to his fellow trainees. He is pleased that Hyo Seop has become a successful actor.
