BLACKPINK has set another new record as their music video of "Kill This Love" becomes the fastest Kpop MV to hit the 1.3 billion views.
At approximately 1:40 p.m. KST on May 22, BLACKPINK's smash hit 2019 music video "Kill This Love" has surpassed the 1.3 billion marks on YouTube.
The song was originally released on April 15, 2019 at midnight KST, and it only took for just over 2 years, one month, and 17 days to reach the milestone. It also break the record of 2 years, 2 months, and 21 days set by BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU-DDU-DU" that became the first Kpop group MV in YouTube that achieve the history last year.
Aside from BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" and "DDU-DU-DDU-DU", PSY's "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" are the only other Korean music videos that have reach the 1.3 billion views on YouTube.
