Joy of Red Velvet is confirmed for a solo debut!
Star News reported on May 12 that Red Velvet's Joy will be releasing her first solo album at the end of May.
SM Entertainment clarified to Newsen, "Joy is preparing to release a remake album. We will announce the detailed plans soon".
Red Velvet's Joy will be the second member of Red Velvet to release a solo album after Wendy, who release her first solo mini-album "Like Water" last month.
Joy known for her clear voice has released some drama OSTs like "Introduce Me A Good Person" for the "Hospital Playlist" OST which performed well on music charts and was nominated for the Melon Music Awards 2020 Top 10. She also remade some several songs in her drama "The Liar and His Lover".
