Kim Yo Han, Kim Young Dae, Cho Yi Hyun, and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol are confirmed for the upcoming KBS 2TV drama "School 2021".
"School 2021" is part of KBS's representative school genre series that starred famous actors including Jang Hyuk, Ha Ji Won, Lim Soo Jung, Gong Yoo, Jo In Sung, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Jong Suk, Nam Joo Hyuk, and more. And the most recent installment of the series are "School 2013", "School 2015: Who Are You", and "School 2017".
The upcoming 8th installment of the school series "School 2021" will be about young adults who choose different paths instead of just preparing for college entrance exams. The drama will portray the dreams, friendships, excitement, and growth of the 18-year-old youths standing in front of an uncertain future.
Kim Yo Han as Gong Ki Joon- who lost his dream of taekwondo due to an injury. Since he has done taekwondo for 11 years, Gong Ki Joon feels lost because he's uncertain of what he should do.
Kim Young Dae as Jung Young Joo- a transfer student with a hidden story. Jung Young Joo will also share a secret past with Gong Ki Joon, raising anticipation for their relationship.
Cho Yi Hyun as Jin Ji Won- who has an unwavering dream. Cho Yi Hyun will showcase her powerful presence once more while experiencing conflict with her mother about going to college.
And lastly, Hwang Bo Reum Byeol as Kang Seo Young- who is preparing for the entrance exam on her own to enter the nation's top five colleges.
"School 2021" is said to be aired in the second half of this year.
